ADA Curb Ramps & Roadway Improvements
Design Intent
This project was developed to improve striping, roadway signage and reconstruct the ADA curb ramps at the off-ramp to meet the current specifications.
Final Result
Two existing ADA curb ramps were removed and reconstructed to meet the new ADA compliance. In addition, new pedestrian signals were installed. On the Bristol / La Veta Off-Ramp, old roadway signs were removed and upgraded with high-intensity signage and larger posts. To complete this project, new enhanced wet/night pavement striping and markings were placed to delineate the roadway.
